Just thought I would share a few pics of the most precious people in my life... We had some professional photos done today, but I took these on our way back to the truck. Thought while the kids were all cleaned up, I should snap a few of my own. When the professional photos are ready, I will ask permission to share a couple on here along with the link to the Photographers. I got to see a couple on the camera while he was taking them, and I liked what I saw!

FOUR YEARS...
How can my baby be FOUR? To say, "time flies" is an understatement. Just yesterday I was holding her on the operating table... and now she begs for her independence.
Over the last 4 years, Elise's personality has been forming... Determination. Strength. Fearlessness. Elise, you are a joy. We love you so much, and pray that as you grow, you will know that more and more each year.

Her first time tubing was on her 2nd birthday :)

White Rock, BC
One of the best things about living in British Columbia's lower mainland is that there are so many beautiful places within a short drive from home.
Last night, we went with friends out to White Rock for the evening. We all had ice cream, and we went for a walk on the pier, and to the white rock.
Here are a few pics...
It's a flock of birds... looks a bit like flies in the picture, but it's really birds - we were hoping they wouldn't fly over our heads :)
Watching the train go by...
There were a few crazies at the end of the pier that drew a crowd by continuously jumping over the railing into the water. 2 guys and 2 gals. One guy made such a splash that he got the whole front row of spectators wet!
We were standing to the side, and the kids were all fascinated by the jumpers. I could see in a couple of their faces that they just wanted to get in the water and do some splashing around, too. Not a chance!

Elements of Style
This set has it all... flourish, solid images, line images, and beautiful sentiments. The saying stamped on the inside is "Life is a matter of moments."
Here is a card I did at a workshop last weekend. First we used watercolour pencils to colour in the flowers, and sponges to ink up the "Presto" patterned paper, and after the card was assembled, including fastening the Vanilla Hodgepodge, we spritzed it with some Vanilla Smooch Spray. I love the new "extras" that Stampin' Up! came out with this catalogue, including the very popular smooch spray.
Thanks for stopping by... hope you are having a great Summer! ☼

Home Decorating Ideas?!
When it comes to my home, I am pretty easy going. I don't have a definite style that goes from room to room. I just put up things that I like, and when I get sick of them, I give them away. I don't have candles that I don't burn, and I don't have anything super duper fancy in my house. But I do love seeing what other people are up to in their home designs and decorating ideas. In my bloghopping this evening, I ended up linking to this blog:
TRANSFORMING HOME
I love what this lady, Danielle, does in her home, and how she shares simple ideas to make a house a home. Hope you enjoy browsing her blog.

Family Times...
Earlier this week, we spent some time at Camperland by Bridal Falls, BC. Beautiful area, and great for the kids. We were there with Steve's family for some "camping." I only put that in quotations because my family stayed in a motel down the path from the campground :) Cheaters, I know, but I wasn't feeling like a slacker when we woke up on Monday morning to the sound of pounding rain. Then I was quite happy for my motel room!
Here are a few pics from our 3 nights there.
We celebrated E's birthday while we were there. This is an applesauce-in-the-coals cake, and it is truly delicious!
Scott made a new friend...
S'mores were my highlight!
Beautiful Creation...
My crazy guys! They did a little glasses switch-a-roo...
Happy for Treehouse during the pouring rain...
