This is always a bitter sweet time because we hate to see some of our favourites retire, but we know it also means we're making way for some new and fresh stamping supplies! The new catalogue comes out July 1st, but you have the next 30 days to get any of the last chance stamps. And you have "while supplies last" to get any of the retiring accessories.

Colour Renovation!

Stampin' Up! has just announced a HUGE renovation to their colour collections. This will all take place in time for the new Idea Book and Catalogue in July. There will be 5 fabulous new "In Colors" and the return of 10 of our old favourites from past In Colors. Plus, SU! is introducing a handful of brand new core colours, too.

But, in order to make room for these great new additions, we must say farewell to some current colours. Take a look at these colours and make sure to stock up on paper, ink, reinkers, and embellishments in any of the colours you know you will use over and over again!

Here is an explanation from Stampin' Up! on the price increases that I thought would give understanding....

You will notice a price increase of about 10 percent for products in the upcoming 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalogue.

We evaluate product pricing based on a number of factors. While the exchange rate is only one factor in pricing considerations for Canada, dramatic changes in the exchange rate are cause for price adjustments. Because the Canadian dollar weakened seven months ago and has seen limited recovery since then, we have found it necessary to adjust our prices.

Stampin' Up! has just released their 2008 Fall/Winter Catalogue Retiring Stamp set list. And for the first time ever, the sets are offered at a 10% discount! So, if you have been eyeing any of these sets, don't delay. The Retired Stamp set list has been released, and we are waiting patiently to see what will be on the Retiring Accessories list later this month, but there are a few things that we KNOW for SURE that are going....

Hodgepodge Hardware in all 3 finishes that are found in the catalogue. Plus, they are currently on sale, (25% off!!!) so what better time than now to stock up on these cool embellishments...

Going out in Style

Stampin' Up! put out their Retiring Accessories list this morning. Click on the link to take a look at what is on its way out. The retiring accessories are available while quantities last.

This list might be a bit of a shock, but here is a note that Stampin' Up! sent its Demonstrators explaining that some of the products will still be available but in different configurations or in different packaging:
In addition to discontinued items, many years we also have a number of items that are being offered in a different quantity or assortment in the upcoming catalogue. This year, we're offering the following items differently in the Fall-Winter Collection 2007:
* Select individual colour packs of 12" x 12" card stock
* Confetti White & Kraft Tiny Takeout boxes & tags
* Select embossing powder colours
* Select 1/4" grosgrain ribbon colours
* Corner Rounder punch
These items appear on the retired list and will be retired in their current quantity or assortment, but you will be able to purchase these or similar items in a different configuration, quantity, or assortment in the Fall-Winter Collection 2007.

And remember that the Retiring stamps and wheels are only available until June 30th.

With all of this talk of Retiring, let me remind you that it means that just around the corner is the brand new Stampin' Up! Fall/Winter Collections 2007 (catalogue). I am so excited to see what new and beautiful products Stampin' Up! comes out with!!!
